These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Facewise mobile application ("Facewise", "the App"), operated by Code Arc Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Facewise, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Facewise lets you take or upload a photo of your face and receive an AI-generated analysis of your skin (such as skin type, visible concerns, and tone) along with personalized skincare suggestions, based on the preferences and answers you provide during onboarding.
Facewise's analysis is generated by an AI model and is provided for general informational and cosmetic purposes only. It is not a medical device, diagnosis, or substitute for professional advice from a dermatologist, physician, or other qualified healthcare provider. Always consult a qualified professional for any skin condition, concern, or before starting a new skincare routine, especially if you have sensitive skin, allergies, or an existing medical condition.
You can use most of Facewise without creating an account. If you choose to sign in (via Google or Apple), we associate your onboarding answers with your account so they're available across devices. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials (managed by Google/Apple) secure.
When you submit a photo for analysis, it is sent to our backend, forwarded to our AI provider for processing, and the resulting analysis is returned to you. We do not store a copy of your photo on our servers after analysis — see our Privacy Policy for details.
You agree not to submit photos of anyone other than yourself without their consent, and not to submit photos that are unlawful, abusive, or otherwise violate the rights of any third party.
You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its backend services; (c) use the App to harass, harm, or impersonate others; or (d) misuse the AI analysis feature by submitting photos unrelated to your own face for the purpose of abusing the service.
Facewise relies on third-party services to operate, including Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and our backend/database provider (Supabase), and an AI provider for photo analysis. Your use of these integrations is also subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.
The App, its design, and its underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any photos you submit; by submitting a photo, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the analysis feature to you.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the AI analysis is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any decisions you make based on the AI-generated analysis.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
