This Privacy Policy explains what information Facewise ("we", "us", "our") collects, how we use it, and your choices. Facewise is an AI-powered face/skin analysis app.

We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in Facewise.
What face data we collect. When you choose to submit a selfie for analysis, Facewise collects that photo for the sole purpose of detecting visible facial and skin characteristics from it — for example face shape, eye shape, skin tone, undertone, and visible skin concerns such as texture, redness, blemishes, dryness, oiliness, or under-eye darkness. This is the only face data Facewise collects, and it is only collected when you actively choose to request an analysis.
How it's used. The photo is sent from your device to our backend service, which forwards it to our AI provider, OpenAI, solely to generate the visible-characteristics analysis described above. The resulting text analysis is then returned to your device. Facewise does not perform facial recognition or identity verification, does not identify who you are from the photo, and does not compare your photo against any other photo, face, or database.
Sharing with third parties. The only third party that ever receives your photo is OpenAI, acting strictly as our AI processing provider to generate your analysis. OpenAI does not use API-submitted images for any other purpose, and per OpenAI's API data usage policies, images submitted through the API are not used to train OpenAI's models. We do not share, sell, or disclose your photo to any advertiser, data broker, or any other third party for any purpose.
Storage and retention. We do not store your photo. It is held only in memory for the seconds it takes to process your single analysis request, then discarded immediately — it is never written to our database, file storage, backups, or any other persistent storage, by us or by our AI provider. No copy of your photo is retained after that single request completes, for any length of time.
Deletion. Because no copy of your photo is ever stored, deletion is automatic and immediate — it happens the moment your analysis request finishes, with no action required from you. Only the text results of an analysis (not the photo itself) may be saved, and only if you are signed in and choose to keep your scan history; that saved text can be permanently deleted at any time via Settings → Delete Account (see Section 6).
If you use Facewise without signing in, your onboarding answers and preferences are stored only locally on your device (not on our servers). If you later sign in, we ask whether to save that local data to your account so it's available if you use the App on another device.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We keep your account and onboarding data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account) — this is immediate and cannot be undone. If you'd rather request deletion by email instead, contact us at muhammadumar840777@gmail.com and we will delete it within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain certain information by law.
We use industry-standard measures (including encrypted connections and row-level access controls on our database) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Facewise is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at muhammadumar840777@gmail.com.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
